John Zahradnik - Baritone
Mr. Zahradnik is a retired music teacher from the Pitman School system, having taught for 36 years. He is a native of Allentown, PA, and studied music at West Chester University, and Ithaca College. Over the course of his career, he has conducted concert bands, marching bands, jazz bands and has either conducted or played trumpet in pit orchestras for many high school musicals.
Professionally, Mr. Zahradnik is director of The Ceremonial Brass Quartet, and is a member of the Bonsal Blues Band and the Tri-County Symphonic Band. He has also written more than 30 band arrangements for the elementary and junior high school level which are enjoyed by many bands in South Jersey.
Mr. Zahradnik is married to his wife MaryJo for the last 36 years, and has two children, Katherine, a professional violist in the Baltimore area, and Michael, an aeronautic and mechanical engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
